- only one side (the outer side) is covered with the structure finish
- the inner side of the extension is matte
- every extension has double-sided acrylic tape 3M along the whole length of its inner side to be mounted on
- gloss and carbon finishes come wrapped in protective film
- has UV protection
- does not need to be painted
